The master suite has a NEW firm queen mattress with a plush topper (the best of both preferences), cotton linens topped with fluffy duvets. Includes the EnSuite with a tub/shower.
The 2nd bedroom can sleep up 2- 3 guests in the bunk bed. The bottom is a double with a twin bed above. Snuggle into the cotton linens with cozy duvet covers. All mattresses are new.
SOFA BED IN LIVING ROOM
The Sofa bed in the living room can sleep a solo guest approximately a full/double size bed.
Located just off the master bedroom with a toilet, pedestal sink and a tub/shower.
Includes a toilet, pedestal sink, and shower only (no tub)

Parental supervision is required as the property has steep unfenced cliff areas.
September Morn beach is only a 15-minute walk from the Weaver Waterfront Cottage. Bring your beach towels and beach shoes and enjoy the south facing waters.
The bright and clean kitchen is Fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and flatware. The pantry has a nice assortment of spices. The kitchen includes a dishwasher to aid in your vacation time.
We supply your morning pot of coffee made in a French Press.
LIVING ROOM with SOUTHERLY OCEAN VIEW
The warm and cozy living room is wrapped in cedar paneling with view windows to capture the water views. We provide a TV with cable connection, games and wood burning wood stove. The living room seats 6 guests.
Relax with the Shaw Cable TV connection. We also provide an HDMI cable to connect your peripherals.
WOOD BURNING WOOD STOVE
October through April we supply your evening fire to add that warm and cozy ambiance to this charming 1940’s cottage. Plug in the fan to circulate that warmth throughout the living, dining, and kitchen.
Would you like to burn all day long? We welcome you to bring DRY BUNDLED WOOD from your local grocery or hardware store.
The wood stove provides a warm winter cozy feel for a romantic ambiance........and the cottage is heated with electric baseboard heaters as well.
May through September - no fireplace burning is allowed

The SPACIOUS dining table is just off of the kitchen with all the plates, glassware and flatware to set the table for your delicious meals.

This is a really beautiful property in a beautiful location, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The interior is very nice, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area. I easily prepared most of my meals there, which was fun. There is a small fireplace with a door and a fan located underneath it which keeps the blaze going. The deck is also great, and you have a terrific view of Vancouver. Rooms are individually heated, which makes it even more comfortable. The area is very, very quiet. I would highly recommend it to others. Here are a few things I discovered which might be helpful to others: - the cottage is indeed walkable from the ferry, but it's up a fairly sizeable hill, and the road is steep in a couple of places. If you're not in pretty good shape, that walk could get old after a few days (especially when it's raining). Also, there are no sidewalks or street lights, so make sure you have a flashlight after dark (your phone is fine). I didn't mind the walk at all, but if you have substantial luggage, kids, or plan on getting around the island a lot, you may be happier with a car. - the listing says "waterfront", but the cottage is above a cliff, so don't imagine you will easily hike down to the water. The view is spectacular, though, and there are other parts of the island where the shoreline is accessible. - don't be intimidated by all the recycling instructions. It's just separating your trash, and they helpfully provide all the correct bins for you. It was so easy, even this American could do it ;). - bear in mind that whatever supplies you might want to purchase in "town" will have to be gotten up the hill - so if you're doing some elaborate cooking or what have you, you might prefer to have a car to transport your shopping. On the other hand, the daily or twice-daily hike makes good exercise, and it's easy if you're just buying for that day. - the property manager strikes a great balance between being helpful and communicative, and not being intrusive. I found it helpful to give her a little information about who I was and what I was hoping for during my visit, and she actually steered me to this property, which was a great decision. She is experienced and knowledgeable, so I'd recommend taking advantage of her advice.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Morning coffee on the deck with friends with ample chairs to entertain. The kitchen was fully equipped to have family meals around the fireplace. The master bed was comfortable and the shower powerful. The pullout couch was ok for sleeping as well as comfortable for a small group. I walked to snug cove through a steep path and it took 15 minutes. Great location to the Barcelona Tapas and shopping. We would recommend a stay.
Excellent location, beautiful views, easy access to shops and hiking trails. A lovely, clean, comfortable cottage. Not a single complaint or suggestion to make - perfect for a weekend away!
I stayed here with a good friend and we loved our time spent on Bowen Island. This fabulous cottage was exactly what we needed for a few days of rest and relaxation. Everything we needed was available: a great kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds, and plenty of towels. The deck overlooking the waterfront view is spectacular! Unfortunately we had a lot of rainy weather, but when the skies cleared for a bit we were able to enjoy the deck and additional seating further down on the property. This cottage and Bowen Island were a great getaway from the city bustle. I would highly recommend it!
We had a great stay on Bowen Island and loved the house! It’s the perfect layout with everything you need and all the comforts of home. It was just the 2 of us but it would have been a great house for a family of 4 or 5 as well. We only cooked breakfast but had everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed the great restaurants on Bowen for lunch and dinner. The view is amazing and we found ourselves outside as much as possible soaking it all up. Several deer that visited everyday were fun as well!

We have recommended BIA to many of both friends and family and we look forward to future visits to Weaver’s cottage.
