Newly Renovated bathroom

Thank goodness the Covid pandemic is in our rearview mirror. The years of stalled improvements are behind us, and we have finally completed our Lazy Bowen Hideaway bathroom renovation.
Gratefully we completed the renovation this February 2022. We can now boast that what used to be a functional but aging bathroom is fresh, new, and practical for our guests.

MORE BRIGHT AND LIGHT CHANGES IN THE TRAILSIDE BEDROOM
The trailside bedroom is quiet and cozy, but it was rather dark in its original color palette. We hired a talented local artist to paint out the 1980s oak Murphy bed to a fresh and bright white. We like the cheerfulness and still enjoy the warmth of the cedar ceiling.

THE SEASIDE BEDROOM HAS A NEW TUFT & NEEDLE MATTRESS
It only took a couple of guests to express their concern about the new Stearns and Foster plush (and expensive) mattress for us to make a change. I agree that a good night's sleep is essential for all our guests. Although every guest has a different comfort level which can be difficult to please, but we think we have the solution...........
The Seaside bedroom has a Tuft & Needle queen-size mattress with an added gel topper, our 6th Tuft & Needle mattress purchase... that's a lot. We think they are the perfect compromise for all guests... firm and yet plush on the top. Our guests love the new mattress.
NEW LAZY BOWEN HIDEAWAY DECK FURNITURE

We replaced the chairs with ottomans with more weatherproof and comfortable Adirondack chairs from Costco—no more wet cushions.
